Flour Dust

Flour dust is a hazardous substance which workers can inhale when it becomes airborne. Flour dust and additives including enzymes (e.g. amylase) are one of the most common causes of occupational asthma. Exposure can occur in kitchens where flour is used as well as in the baking and milling industries.
